What are the chances of Trump getting re-elected...

Now that:
1. Iranians support America within (protest etc.)
2. China trade deal signed which NOW benefits the farmers or recoup lost costs with purchases
3. USMCA trade deal in place ($2 Trillion)
4. Economy at all-time high and holding steady along with low employment and a slow steady though minor 3.2% increase on wages overall in the last 12 months.
5. Impeachment trial likely to get him acquitted even with or without new evidence along with GOA report (he's survived this far while everyone else that's been caught doing his bidding have more or less gone to jail).
6. Top 2 of the 4 electable candidates labeled as socialists (Warren/Sanders)
7. Talks of more tax cuts v2.0
8. No opposition on the Republican side unlike in 2016.

reply

60% chance with no real problems in economy happening. Some people will never vote republican.Maybe higher as really Biden just doesn't have it to get people even though hardcore democrat to go vote.

reply

60-70% was what I was thinking as well.

reply

If the economy collapse then all 7 points are eradicated from history.

And then the domino's all fall.

This is by far the weakest field of any campaign since 1996 for the REPS and 1972 since the DEMS.

Yup.

It would be awful hard to lose this election.

reply

Biden isn't even close to being the Hillary in the democrat party. Donald will win with the same vote and with democrats staying home.

reply

Voter turn-out is the wildcard. High voter turn-out favors DEMs.

reply

Not always. See 2004. Trump in particular appeals to a lot of non-traditionally Republican voters, including many disgusted with routine politics who don't often vote.

reply

I suppose we have to wait and see.

reply

90% and I think he will win by a substantially larger margin than 2016.

reply

I think you guys betting on 60-90% must live in parts of the country where everyone around you is voting for Trump. It isn't line that everywhere. It's 50/50 as it is every election with few exceptions.

reply

He is such a divisive person that to hope he wins is like hoping chaos and mayhem break out. He's a pox on our country and we shouldn't have to suffer under his bragging ineptitude any longer than we must.

reply

Agreed
He has to go

reply

impeached forever

reply

Acquitted forever. Hopefully reelected for America's sake, with Republicans retaking the House. And Democrats will go down as the partisan villains who abused their power and wrecked impeachment going forward, making it nakedly political like they ruined the judicial nomination process.

reply

Not sure if that stands though. Does that mean Bill Clinton is impeached forever as well even though he too was acquitted by the Senate? Impeachment is just the stage between the House vote and Senate Trial. After the trial he is either acquitted or removed from office.

reply

High, unfortunately.

I have no faith in our government at this point.

reply

What I don't get is why Nancy is just giving so much to Trump (like the USMCA trade). Either way he'll just claim victory and keep calling the dems the Do Nothing Democrats.

reply

Maybe she's doing it to appear impartial or something. I don't know.

In all honesty, our country is in a garbage state right now. BOTH parties are guilty, as far as I see it. To say otherwise is to deny reality. BOTH parties made this mess.

...But here's the thing: Donald Trump never has, never was and never will be the answer to any of this problem. EVER. Donald Trump is but a symptom of the problem--not its solution. I maintain that to this day and I honestly shouldn't even have to elaborate.

reply

Hard to tell if Trump will be re-elected, but I hope not. Whether or not the senate aquits him the whole impeachment inquiry will be a stain on his reputation forever. He'll have to live with that.

reply

Nope. That Democrat assumption is wrong, ironically in part because of their own behavior rendering it anachronistic. Trump will be acquitted forever and has a chance to be one of our most successful presidents.

reply

ROTFL!!

reply

He's always good for a chuckle.

Well, slim, he seems like he can take it. He's lived with an uninterrupted tirade of slander, libel, vilification, smears and outright character assassination since the first day he took office. Like the Left just can't help themselves, they are compelled to hate a conservative, no matter who he is.

reply

Even before the day he took office. Some were calling for his impeachment the night he was elected (Maxine Waters in particular). I sure hope they bring this up at the trial. Let's not forget Pelosi admitted last month that they've been working on impeachment for 2 & 1/2 years! 😱 The Ukraine call happened not even quite 6 months ago!

But yes, they've always hated the conservative, no matter who it was. This president is indeed DANGEROUS...Dangerous to Democrats!! 😜😅
Remember how they called McCain a racist when he was running? And now the phonies put him up on a pedestal because of 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
But Meghan never mentions this.

reply

Doubt it bothers him. Doesn't seem to really bother Bill after his impeachment throughout the years.

reply

I beg to differ. I think it bothers him greatly. You think a narcissist like him wants any negative label whatsoever? This bothers the hell out of him. If it didn't, he wouldn't constantly use language like: "totally exonerated" and "sham impeachment" and "I'm not really impeached", etc.

No, you're severely underestimating the man. This bothers him. Greatly.

Consider this, if it didn't truly bother him then WHY is he CONSTANTLY attacking this impeachment during his rallies, on his twitter, etc? The Iran incident, exposing the whistleblower, talking about how all the witnesses "committed treason" etc. Donald is a bully. He is a shark. And he feels threatened. Bullies and sharks lash out when threatened.

Donald despises bad labels. For God's sake, we're talking about the guy who asked one of his officials to try to identify all the people in a sports game crowd that booed him.

You usually say intelligent things around here--how can you NOT see that this bothers him?

reply

I heard Trump the other night asking the top guy at JP Morgan to THANK HIM (Trump) for his bank having record profits. Yeah, he's really for the average American, right? Such a cretin.
