Tom Steyer

He must be targeting my region for TV ads. I hear about all this $$ Bloomberg is spending, but I never see him. No one talks about Steyer, but I've seen multiple commercials.
He seems like a sincere fellow, and a legitimate self-made businessman unlike the the loathsome Donald. Why does this guy get no notice?

I think we've had enough Billionaires. Biden is going to be the nominee and the new President. If WW3 doesn't start by then.

Bloomberg thinks the only way to unseat Trump is for another rich person to step in, like people will gravitate toward wealth like flies to sh!t. And Steyer seems very neutral as far as not playing some ethnic card or being a socialist (god forbid !).
I wouldn't want to discount someone simply because they have been successful, and I worry that all the Dem front runners are as old as Trump (not that Steyer is young). I'm just wondering why this guy has gained so little attention when he seems like a sensible centrist, not some bizarre nut job like Trump. He seems appealing to me.

I like that he's an environmentalist and was the first to call for Trump impeachment, but my #1 choice is Biden. It's too bad that Tulsi went rogue, because she is young and attractive...the only candidate who is!

Do you have an early primary in your state?

reply

Dunno. Hadn't thought about that. I don't think so, and while I never vote pub and always vote Dem, on principle I am registered Independent. I was bummed when I couldn't choose between HRC and BHO in the primary but didn't switch my (non)affiliation.

Just saw my first Bloomberg commercial. As a rule I don't watch anything on faux network (with very limited exceptions) but I had some pregame football nonsense on (I hate those guys) and up popped Bloomberg. Interesting strategy.
Anyway, after a while I changed the channel. Can't stand watching anything on faux unless it's unusually interesting.
