WOOPS! David Holmes, who overheard T-rump's phone conversation with Sondland, will testify on Friday

Yesterday, another shoe dropped during the televised impeachment hearing of diplomat Bill Taylor, that made Gym Jordan's head explode. Taylor, whose testimony back in late October made Sondland take a bottle of Prevagen to restore his memory, referenced another staffer who overheard an important phone call between Sondland and T-rump, because T-rump spoke so loudly into the telephone. That staffer will now be testifying on Friday in front of the committee, behind closed doors.

According to Taylor, he just found out over this past weekend that staffer David Holmes - a counselor for political affairs at the U.S. embassy in Kiev - was with U.S. Ambassador to the E.U. Gordon Sondland at a restaurant on July 26 when the ambassador placed a call to Mr. Trump.

According to Taylor's opening statement yesterday, "The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone, asking Ambassador Sondland about 'the investigations'. Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward."

Taylor said the staff member then asked Sondland after the call what the president "thought about Ukraine."

"Ambassador Sondland responded that President Trump cares more about the investigations of Biden, which Giuliani was pressing for," Taylor said.

Holmes is described as "a very sharp, honest, experienced" foreign service officer, "one of the best I ever served with," by William Burns, a career diplomat and former deputy secretary of state.

No doubt, Gym Jordan and the Republicans will spend the next 48 hours trying to smear Holmes and his credibility. "He was one of the best I ever served with."

reply

Hearsay! Speculation! And other dismissive words that don't apply here!

reply

LOL!

The big question is: Why would Ambassador Sondland call the president on an unencrypted line from a public restaurant in a foreign country?

"The security ramifications are insane," Larry Pfeiffer, a former senior director of the White House Situation Room and a former chief of staff to the CIA director, told The Washington Post. "In a country that is so wired with Russian intelligence, you can almost take it to the bank that the Russians were listening in on the call."

reply

Shocking, given how deeply Republicans care about security issues. They are still bringing up Hillary's email server, after all.

You'd think they'd be bothered by this.

reply

How do the two relate, exactly? Pray elaborate.

reply

You really need that spelled out for you?

OK. Republicans are still bringing up Hillary's private e-mail server because of the security issues it created.

This implies that they are very concerned with security, at least when it comes to Hillary's practices.

Trump is one of them. You'd think he'd be very careful. Certainly wouldn't communicate over unencrypted phone lines in foreign countries. And Republicans would be bothered by the things Doggiedaddy brought up in the post above.

reply

Apparently you didn't understand. What else is new?

How does an unsecure private server that contained classified documents labeled "Top Secret" relate to a phone call from the White House? Show me the article that says the phone line was unencrypted. You think I'm going to take dogdump's word for it like you? How naive can you be?

You notice how dogdump didn't include a link? Didn't you notice that his post is biased toward the narrative of Orange man Bad? No? Ignorant much?

reply

You're not making sense. You never wrote anything about the accuracy of Doggiedaddy's post in your first response to me. You only did that in this follow up post. Can you see how the post above and that first response to me are making different points? There is NOTHING in that post that would make ANYONE think that that is where you were going.

It's pretty clear you were questioning how Republicans' attacks on Hillary regarding her server related to what Trump did, when they are both OBVIOUSLY security issues.

Your mind is a bit muddled, it seems.

reply

Because his posts are OBVIOUSLY slanted. If something is OBVIOUS it doesn't need to be stated. Apparently you failed to notice what was OBVIOUS.

Where did Trump make the phone call from? Answer that first.

reply

Doggiedaddy is a proven liar. Who, with any brains at all would take him even slightly serious?

reply

Whether or not that's true isn't the point, now is it?

Sandman's original response to me had nothing to do with that, yet he seemed to think I somehow "failed to understand" his question.

reply

No. It's not the point but it bears mentioning. :)

reply

Tell me, do you think calls from the White House are secured or unsecured?

reply

Says the queen of lies.

reply

Yeah, girly? What lies? I have yours that I can show, AGAIN.

reply

And as usual, when called out, Doggiedaddy has skulked back under her porch.

reply

Not to mention, he's a proven liar.

reply

I'm sure Republicans will hang T-rump now! Talking on an unencrypted phone about Ukraine doing the dirty work for T-rump to help him win an election - while not only Russia is listening in, but everyone sitting near Sondland!

If an email server with nothing proven wrong set their pants on fire, can you imagine this?

Can't wait for Gym Jordan to cast the first vote to hang his savior.

reply

Since you took the mantle on this one despicable dogdump, I'm going to give you another chance to elaborate WITHOUT the Ignorance. Display your "intelligence" for everybody to witness first hand.

In the meantime, speaking of first hand, you can view read aloud versions of Alice the Fairy first hand right now! Have you been denying yourself? Is it because you're a despicable wretch that endorses an organization that fuels hatred? Well take some time off and enjoy some tee-hees. I encourage you.

Damn! What a brilliant and dazzling display of your "intelligence". The dim despicable dunce dogdump. Truly pathetic.

reply

Hahaha! They actually do apply.

reply

Right. The testimony of someone who was listening to the call directly is Hearsay! Speculation!

Republicans like walls. Especially the ones in their brains that shield them from reality.

reply

You know better than that. People lie all the time. This is going nowhere with the "evidence" the Democrats have.

reply

For fucks sake.

You're accusing him of perjury there. That's something COMPLETELY different than hearsay and speculation.

reply

I think chilone and Sandman are the same person in two different accounts, because there just can't be two people on one forum who are both that stupid. Not even on a T-rump forum.

reply

Not just stupid, but stupid in such similar ways.

reply

All you two can do is call names?? Real compelling stuff for intelligent adults. Keep it up, children.

reply

True! They got to be one and the same.

reply

Oh, yeah!! NO ONE commits perjury!! I forgot!
