Calls for Kavanaugh's impeachment as new allegations surface

New allegations of sexual misconduct against Brett Kavanaugh have come forward this week, and calls for his impeachment have started from several Democratic candidates. The alleged assault, once again, took place during his college years and has been uncovered by The New York Times.

This weekend, Presidential candidates Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Julián Castro and Pete Buttigieg said Kavanaugh should be taken off the nation's highest court after the latest accusation, which comes nearly a year after other misconduct allegations roiled Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings.

Harris tweeted, "I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached."

Castro tweeted, "It’s more clear than ever that Brett Kavanaugh lied under oath. He should be impeached. And Congress should review the failure of the Department of Justice to properly investigate the matter."

"Last year the Kavanaugh nomination was rammed through the Senate without a thorough examination of the allegations against him," Warren tweeted. "Confirmation is not exoneration, and these newest revelations are disturbing. Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached."

The man who appointed him, President T-rump, stood by Kavanaugh.

"Brett Kavanaugh should start suing people for libel, or the Justice Department should come to his rescue," T-rump tweeted.

What a surprise there!

He's just a regular guy who likes his beer.

Interesting how the FBI wouldn't hear any of this testimony by this witness last year. Why? Because they were in a 'time constraint' by the GOP to rush this through.

reply

Yeah. I imagine that's why they were in a hurry. Easier to supress evidence and short circuit the investigations.

reply

I do hope they call for his impeachment. That guy has no right at all being on the SC. What a disgrace to all those who have served before him.

reply

How unlucky for Trump. He so desperately wanted a SC justice who protected presidents from indictment, and ended up choosing a drunken rapist.

reply

T-rump only surrounds himself with great people. Remember that and don’t laugh out loud!

reply

Whats funny is he originally tweeted "liable" instead of libel and deleted it. Though not surprising as he's an idiot when it comes to libel. He tweets about it all the time like he did with Stormy Daniels, yet he never filed one libel suit.

Can you believe this moron is our President ?

reply

Stable genius, moron - whichever you prefer.

reply

Lol!

reply

Liberals are pathetic people. Lather, rinse, repeat. How unoriginal.

reply

You prefer chaos over order? No wonder you adore T-rump. He has certainly brought chaos and disruption to this country.

reply

The NYT already retracted this story. Fake news.

reply

You didn’t answer the question. You diverted.

Kavanaugh is being accused by a number of women for sexual misconduct like other presidents including Orange Head. Why can't they just keep their hands to themselves?! Don't they know they will be accused??

reply

T-rump explained it all on the 'Access Hollywood' tape: Women love it when a man goes up and 'grabs them by the pussy'. Obviously, he only meant that special club of men called 'the GOP' (which he and Kavanaugh belong). They do support one another for doing such things.
