Trump Seeks to Deport Cancer-Striken Children

There is a program that allows migrant children to get medical care if they have cancer, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy, HIV and other conditions. Trump has ended this program on August 7th and plans to deport these children which will likely lead to their deaths. This program effects thousands.

"“Can anyone imagine the government ordering you to disconnect your child from life-saving care — to pull them from a hospital bed — knowing that it will cost them their lives?” Mr Marino, the head of immigration legal services at the Irish International Immigrant Centre, said."

Of course, Trumpites don't care since they support Trump's cruelty.

I’m so glad Melania has spoken out against this so passionately as she stands for all children in the world!

Good for her! How she stays married to that jerk is beyond me.

reply

Ummmmmmm- not good for her. She hasn't said a word, never mind speaking out on this deplorable action.

Deporting the fake cases. With it law it takes forever in court to send a fake case home. Now it is them having to prove they are sick.

reply

So it's not deporting cancer-stricken children, is that what you're saying?

reply

No the new rules is it is now a government determination of the case over the past was just a board group. It might be tougher to get okayed. It is now like if you want to apply for social security because of injury. You really need to now do more to prove disabled than just say you are.
It is just a new department doing the okay over someone wanting to stay longer than the 2 year visa they applied for.
Going forward, applicants will be able to seek deportation deferrals from a different agency, Immigration Customs, and Enforcement, according to the spokeswoman.

Of course ICE was clueless to any of this:

On Wednesday, however, ICE rejected this claim. An ICE official told WBUR that the agency was not informed by USCIS that USCIS would stop processing the deferral requests. "There is no program at ICE that's going to take over that function," the ICE official said.

"ICE is not going to implement any sort of a program or procedure or policy to take over that function," the ICE official said. "We'd like USCIS to clarify what they mean, and we're working collaboratively to get them to be a little more forthcoming about it."

Well anyway it is England that has the death panels not the US. Donald will not put some kid in a hospital bed and send him away when just the other day he was telling England to send that kid they killed here instead.

And the kids who died while in US custody at the borders - was he going to send them to England? Is that the plan?

reply

No medical thing could have helped them. It was from a birth thing they had or from living in a junk country.

You don't know that. You're just defending T-rump letting little children die horrible deaths in US Custody (under his orders), while his family stood silently by him.

Absolutely horrific.

reply

He didn't pull food and water away from them for a week.

reply

A whole week? How magnanimous of him.

reply

That is what England did to that kid they didn't want.

reply

Horrible - and T-rump's treatment of children is just as horrible.

reply

Trump incompetence as usual. Meanwhile, families are being sent letters warning them they face deportation within 30 days. I should write that some of these families are here legally under the program.

reply

It is a immigration thing so I'm sure the democraps have a bunch of fraud in it that Donald wants to end. A for real sick kid won't be sent away though.

reply

According to Trump, they will be deported even though they are in the U.S. legally for medical care.

Trump is a sociopath therefore he has no ability to care if children die. Why is his base supporting "legal homicide" as the 16 year old in the video called it? BTW, his 6 month old sister died from the same illness in their own country.

reply

Don't need people coming into the country who have AIDs, no thanks.

reply

Are you advocating allowing young children to die because they have an illness you don't like?

reply

Yes, he obviously is.

He believes in killing children once they're born (but abortions are out of the question).

reply

Liberals believe in killing children in the womb and once they are born (post birth abortions).

reply

Conservatives believe in killing children after their born.

reply

Who the fuck likes AIDS?

reply

It's not about 'liking' a disease, but curing a disease, and caring for those who are afflicted. You really have no moral compass.

Ask any Christian - well, not those Evangelical or Republican 'Christians' who follow the T-rump Testament Bible. They lack any moral compass, like you.

So ask the Pope, or any liberal Christian.

reply

Such a right-wing, God-fearing, Christian response!

reply

Where are the so-called 'Christian Right', Evangelicals and 'Right-to-lifers' ? Where's the uproar from them?

Where's the outrage from Melania T-rump and Ivanka who both feign interest n the well being of all children?
