Under the Trump presidency, Muslims are no longer the worry for terrorism, it's young white men with a particular extremist view.

reply

9 Dead in O-HI-O

reply

Horrendous. But if you wish to sway people, you might not want to be misleading. For instance, in the 252 "mass" shootings, in over half of those no one was killed.
Another thing, why do you think a mad man who chooses to break laws and murder people would be an honest person? The media does the same thing. "Well he wrote/said it, so it must be true!"

reply

How was he misleading? Or does the mention of "1025 injured" in those 252 mass shootings not carry any gravitas because they're not in the Killed column?

reply

I didn't say he or she wasn't technically accurate. It's just that people tend to think of mass shootings as a bunch of people killed in a public place. Not two people injured in a family dispute.

reply

Yes, it may be a more sensational headline to hear " ## Killed in shooting", but it shouldn't diminish the tragedy, nor the discussion as to whether the harm would have occurred at the number it did if the perpetrator hadn't had access to a rapid-fire weapon in the first place.

reply

But it does diminish it.

reply

“No one was killed in those other mass shootings! What you bringing them up for !?” 😂

reply

Mass shooting is an incident involving multiple victims of firearms-related violence. There is no widely accepted definition of the term "mass shooting".

7 shot in Chicago overnight, not one word.

reply

You mean a gunman opened fire on a crowd of innocent people an massacred them killing 7 ? I didn't hear about that. Another white supremacist?

reply

Three mass shootings in one day on August 4th.

reply

Republicans say days like this make them proud to be an American.

reply

25 incidents per page of the 11 pages in total just in 2019... my my. I love how it has an interactive map as well so we know where areas are more prone to acts of violence.

Most of the hotspots are from California, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, New York, and Washington.

4 blue states and 4 red states.

reply

46 injured over the weekend.

reply

2 more shootings and the death toll will reach Chicago’s weekly average.

reply

What is Chicago's weekly average? But you know that's Chicago for ya. Nothing really changes for the better there.

reply

Trump is the president of Chicago as he is the entire country. Obviously Trump has failed to control crime like he said he would during his campaign.

reply

T-rumpanzees forget that Chicago and Baltimore are part of their ‘ Murica which their T-rump is President.

reply

It's all those white supremacists roaming the streets of Chicago, no doubt.
