He did bankrupt his Atlantic city casino. How do you loose money with a casino? 🤧 but the real story of this isn’t that he bankrupted a casino, it’s that he shifted personal debt into the casino and the burden of those debts once the casino went bankrupt was on the share holders and investors that he conned into putting money into something he said he could make work.
I bet those people felt really dumb...

shareAbout fifteen years ago (or more), T-rump wanted to open a casino / golf course here in RI, because he wanted to 'expand' into New England. He wanted to go into a small town off the highway which fell on hard times, as it used to be a factory town (which everything had closed up by the 1980s). He promised millions of jobs at the time.
Thank God, the (Republican) governor said NO, and the state committees said NO. They never said why during the time he was pursuing the casino license, just that they weren't interested in his project. Once he left town (and tried a casino in CT which didn't happen), the guv and the state reps came forward and said the truth - they just didn't trust him. They knew he was not telling the truth about his business or his casinos, and they were afraid of the future of RI if they gave him all that he wanted (millions of dollars in tax breaks, buying the existing properties below market rate, etc.).
Thank God we dodged that bullet!
