Why is it that right wing nutters are always telling people what to do...

and then bleat on and on about freedom of choice?

It seems to me that left wing nutters have caught up with right wing nutters..

If only we could all break free of all the bubbles and think for ourselves.

You mean like, when you attribute the actions of one to a whole because they share a simple connection?

reply

You mean like gun control???

You’re the worst one for it. Always with the wild generalisations just so you can claim some moral superiority. Yet you get so precious when it’s done to you.

Right now right-wingers are pushing for a ban on flag burning. Not because burning things is dangerous, but because they don't like the message it sends. Thats a violation of freedom of speech.

Since you believe "left wing nutters" have caught up to the right wing, tell me what legislation are left-wingers proposing that will reduce your freedom?

That's not even anything new..We've been here before. That's why this current brand of "progression" has to double down on things to protest. The ground work has already been done long ago and it's so much harder to have anything real to overcome now...but their own insane buttons to push..And if you don't share their view on everything you will be ostracized or silenced. They have no room for free thinkers, and despite Trump, they rule most of the media. And the media seems to rule the left..or vice versa.
As once a lifelong liberal I can't even begin to tell you all the crazy proposals the far left has come up with legislating ...I want to have a nice day and don't want insanity crowding it.

How about just a few...such as fines or worse for misgendering or calling someone the wrong pronouns..Or the proposal that parents comply with children as young as 3 deciding their own gender.
Most sane people have a measure of both liberal and conservative ideas depending on the issue but this current environment demands you be in one bubble or another and encourages pushing the other side further to more extremes...
They want people to be polarized and at each others throats.
It helps Politicians on both sides. But it doesn't serve the people.

I hear a lot of noise, but never anything being said from you concern-prowling Tim Pool and Dave Rubin types.

Liberals don't rule the media. Money does. Money-making headlines and clickbait does. Now maybe having a liberal bias means you get more headlines and clickbait since right-wingers have a higher tendency to cross the line of decency. I don't really know.

Complaining about transgenders' use of pronouns is just as silly as transgenders complaining about pronouns. There's no legislation following it up. YET lets kick all transgenders out of the military because... reasons. And just like CNN you pretend both sides are even. They aren't even close. The right-wing in this country is constantly taking away your freedom. While the left-wing is merely saying words you don't like from time to time. Huge motherf'ing difference.

And thats exactly how the right-wing wins. They convince you to be pissed off at little stuff while they go for the big stuff. Then the right-wing gets so brazen with their removal of freedom that you get blindsided by it and start thinking "oh man the right is becoming like the left." Complete garbage. The only thing the left has any interest removing from this country is corporate welfare and the oligarchy. And like a good Tim Pool/Dave Rubin I'm sure you will find a way to equate that to taking away your individual freedom.

Great post. We are a time when its one extreme or another. If you are on the left, you must believe this, this and this. If you're on the right you must believe that, that and that. It seems we cant be this and that, we must pick a team and stick to it. All the while the teams get rich as fuck, and people are stuck watching two teams phone it in for the pay checks.
