Trump is still President.

1461 days and counting...

The Constitution lays out a way for presidents to be removed from office by Congress, just as it lays out a way that presidents can take office without a popular majority or even plurality. This procedure cannot successfully be invoked without the support of a supermajority of the public larger than what is necessary to elect a president in the first place.
For that reason, Trump is highly likely to be in power at 11 am on January 20, 2021

reply

Unless you ask the libtards.

reply

1041 since taking office

reply

Imagine celebrating that a president has stayed in office after 1041 days. That's gotta be the lowest bar in the history of presidential achievements.

reply

Obumatards celebrated for 8 years when Obuma was prezident. That is really sad in my books.

He also doubled the national debt and not one libtard said anything about it when he left office. Luckily he wasn't able to get his 3rd term like he wanted.

reply

Obama supporters celebrated him being president in 2008 and 2012. That's about it. All other celebrations were related to legislation.

Trumptards celebrate every day Trump doesn't mess it all up and get himself kicked out of office. lol

reply

Just twice? Thats pretty sad. Trump supporters have been basically supporting him for 3 years now.

reply

We're talking celebration, not just mere support. A supporting base is constant throughout any presidency.

Obama supporters celebrated him being president in 2008 and 2012. More specifically, they celebrated him winning in 2008, celebrated his inauguration in 2009, and celebrated his re-election in 2012. I'm sure there was also some small celebration at the beginning of his second term in January 2013. But all the other celebrations regarding Obama revolved around some type of ideological victory.

UV, it's easy to display a fairytale like that when you have the media on your side. It's smoke & mirrors.

Same way as them trying to convince everyone that no one actually supports President Trump or anyone on the right for that matter. They always display the left as being correct and the right as being wrong or in an unflattering light. They feed half truths/no truth every single day.

I know a lot of people who voted for Obama in 2008 and regretted it in the first year. They didn't vote for him a second time.

I'm not gonna say people didn't like Obama because I know they did but anyone would be delusional to believe it's not just as true for President Trump.

Obama was just as loved and hated the same way President Trump is loved and hated. Only difference is, the media tells the story they want to give a skewed impression.

They're also great for keeping the division intact. 😉

reply

Trump has always had the support of at least 30% of the country. The media recognizes that.

Obama was just as loved and hated the same way President Trump is loved and hated.
Obama had more people that respected him, and still does.

Basically the people that would never support Obama are Trump's current base. Both of those groups have always been the minority of Americans, but certainly not zero like you claim the media is trying to convince people.

But again, we were talking celebration and not mere support.

reply

You don't think we celebrated President Trump's win? The media wouldn't even allow him to have a honeymoon period after he won the election. But those of us who supported him celebrated anyway even though the media wouldn't acknowledge it.

30%?! Not where I live. I'm in a very blue state. He gets crumbs at best. However, 30% is nowhere near accurate to reality. It's way higher but they don't want the public to know that.

Obama was "respected" because the media spoon fed that narrative. Was he really respected though?

It's extremely small where I live. If I wasn't paying attention like I do and only caught the 10pm local news, I would think President Trump is an awful person!
Maybe the news media isn't that bad in red or purple states but in this blue one, they never give him a break or give him credit for anything. They avoid most of what he's accomplished! But they always have time for BS stories shown on every channel, every news slot for days.
The news isn't even news.
Their dishonesty makes me sick. I've noticed this 30 years before Trump became President. Finally someone acknowledged it and called them out on it.

reply

Man, you're just not paying attention. It's pretty bad when you're in such a rush to disagree with someone that you reply without even reading what's been said.

reply

Your last paragraph said this:
"But again, we were talking celebration and not mere support."

I acknowledged it and responded to that first.

reply

Your first reply to me pertained to support. But my conversation with Bubba was about celebration.

So I let you know that that conversation with Bubba was about celebration.

Then you asked "You don't think we celebrated President Trump's win?"

I KNOW you did. If you look above, that's the conversation. That his supporters have been celebrating every day that he's been in office, whereas Obama's supporters "celebrated" only a few times, without the constant need for "Obama is president! Yay!" threads. They didn't exist on the Obama board on IMDB except in certain situations such as election, reelection and the passing of legislation.

But with Trump, every day he doesn't mess it all up is a day they celebrate him being president :)

reply

I didn't read this entire thread. As you can see I responded to something you wrote 18 days ago and I don't think I read this thread at all when it started.

Your post caught my eye and I commented. But I'll stay out of it after this post. 😉

I personally think the whole "Trump is President" is a sort of reminder for all the haters and maybe even rubbing it in a little. Having Obama for 8 years felt like 80 years for us so people on the right are thrilled to have Trump as President.

reply

When the free press is ridiculed it's a sure sign of authoritarian leaning. In every communist country the press is a tool for government misinformation. People who denigrate the mainstream news are trying to dismantle scrutiny of power. So what you are asking for is authoritarian rule, and maybe at least they will confiscate all the guns, which I'm guessing is what you want, right?

reply

I am genuinely disturbed Obama didn't try to tackle the national debt, but I don't see anyone on the Wrong wanting to do anything about it either.
Politicians are crooks, but rethuglicans are criminals.

reply

he doubled the national debt and no said a thing, amazing...

reply

You read my mind. They're nothing else to celebrate in his Presidency, except the fact he gained another day on the calendar. Isn't that pathetic ?

reply

amazing President...

Time for Bob Johnson to #walkaway.

Well the communist Democrat party in congress has finished their impeachment investigation in which they couldn’t even get unanimous support from their own members.

And...Trump ain’t goin no where.

Even a phony impeachment circus can't stop him!

reply

No kidding, everything is still going great for Trump and America.

reply

So why does Trump complain all the time? Apparently it's not great enough for him. The guy is his own star in some Shakespeare tragedy. Clueless to his own folly while serviced by people too dumb or afraid to tell him the truth. His turnover rate in his administration is mind-boggling. No one with a conscience wants to be associated with this sociopath.
And yet we see too many people without a conscience these days.

reply

T-rump is now the IMPEACHED President. And as Donnie Jr. says: Being an impeached president is deplorable.

reply

Happy 3rd year anniversary Mr Trump!

reply

Only President in History to be impeached in his first three years! What an embarrassment !

reply

Been 27 days since Trump was fake impeached, we are still waiting on Saggy Boobs McGee to do something.

reply

F I V E more years.

reply

Its going to be a glorious time to be alive!

reply

Not for T-rump.

reply

Oh, here's another one that hasn't aged well!

reply

Aging better than you think.

reply

I agree, Trump is still President, thank you for agreeing with me again.

Its the market reacting to Obama coming out of hiding, so it crashed.

reply

No, the stock market reacted to Obama's endorsement yesterday. Try to keep up.

reply

That video was uploaded in the afternoon when the stock market was already closing. It was up already all day long anyways. Obama speaks and the stock market crashes. He needs to be quiet like he has been for the past 354 days.

reply

Obama was live at 12 noon on Wednesday, and most every station picked up his live feed. His video was all over social media within an hour of going live on Wednesday. The stock market closed high on Wednesday at 4 pm, four hours after Obama's endorsement - a reaction to his endorsement.

No matter how you twist it otherwise, it doesn't make it true.

reply

Like I said before, it was released in the afternoon. Its on the internet.

reply

You are a bigot. Obama's tenure was a time of relative peace and sanity other than hardcore righties who couldn't stand the idea of an intelligent black man being president. Now we have a clown who can't keep a decent cabinet together and claims every stupid mistake he makes is everyone else's fault. Any parent who is pointing to trump as someone their child should aspire to is dooming their child to a horrible life.
