Medicare will be insolvent in 7 years according to its own trustees. Leftist response? Let's expand it for "all"! LOL.

"Medicare will become insolvent in 2026, just eight years from now, and Social Security will follow in 2034, just 16 years from now, the Associated Press reports."

Also:

"Social Security and Medicare together accounted for 42 percent of Federal program expenditures in fiscal year 2017."

Despite even the current program, where the entire working population funds benefits only received by a minority (seniors), being unsustainable, Democrats want to expand "Medicare to all" where everyone is enrolled in the program but only the same number of people are paying into it. Leftists are either lying or they suck at math. And with these entitlements already gobbling up 42% of the federal government's annual $4 trillion in spending, what percentage would that skyrocket to with "Medicare for all"? Clearly this wouldn't be Medicare as Americans know it but a seriously rationed, government micromanaged federal power grab, socializing the entire healthcare industry and hurting Americans' lives as they're deprived of their freedom.

I love how leftists mock conservatives who warned decades ago that entitlements like Medicare would be incremental stepping stones toward socialism.....even as they prove them right by citing these programs as a rationale for dragging the country further in a socialist direction.
