So much for that BS Russia "scandal". Even Chris Matthews admits no "there there".

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/chris-matthews-trump-russia-collusion-theory-came-apart-with-comey-testimony/article/2625372

Comey may be a corrupt, dishonest, spiteful POS who was drunk on his own bureaucratic power, but the Trump-hating former FBI director confirmed that he told the President at least three times he wasn't personally the subject of an investigation (because there's no evidence to justify such an investigation), proving Trump right and completely proving wrong reports by CNN, ABC, and other leftist outlets in recent days that Comey was going to contradict Trump, based on anonymous sources (fake news).

Comey said the NY Times story (based on anonymous sources) claiming there had been "repeated contacts" between Trump staff and Russian intelligence was "wrong". (fake news)

There is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Period.

There was no obstruction of justice.

Comey said there is no evidence Russia changed a single vote (so they didn't "hack the election").

Comey confessed to orchestrating leaks to get payback against Trump (he didn't word it that way, but that's essentially what he did).

Comey admitted Trump just made that one statement about "hoping" Flynn gets clear because he's a "good guy" and then never mentioned it again. Comey also said the Flynn investigation being shut down wouldn't have impacted the Russia investigation anyway.

In fact Comey said Trump ENCOURAGED him to find out and expose if anyone on his campaign staff had inappropriate dealings with Russia, far from shutting any investigation down.

Comey said Obama's AG Loretta Lynch asked him to call the Clinton investigation a "matter" instead of an "investigation", echoing the Clinton campaign's rhetoric, despite it actually being a criminal investigation.

If anything, what substance there actually is in this whole issue shows Democrats acting nefariously.

So, LIBS LIED, gee I am so shocked.

reply

So, a knee-jerk, pointless, hollow, typical response from a right-winger -- gee, I am so shocked.

reply

You forgot "racist, xenophobic, and misogynist"

reply

Nah, he didn't forget it... It's just redundant to say what everyone already knows about right-tards.

reply

Noting here you haven't a single factual thing to say on topic, which is of course a libitarded constant - the aversion to factual rebuttal, the ineptitude at the interrogatory, the dearth of wit, wisdom, and moreover insight.

What does it feel like to be a human knee-jerk act, like Howdy Doody with Buffalo Bob's corpulent hand up your backside?

reply

Sorry, hardly the last word on this.

While Loretta Lynch's conduct warrants further scrutiny, it's time to empower a special prosecutor to investigate other, real scandals where we know there was actual underlying wrong doing, like the Obama IRS abuse and suppression of conservative groups in the run up to the 2012 election, Fast and Furious (where people died), Benghazi and associated lies and cover ups (where people died), and the Clinton email scandal, since in these cases the Obama administration stonewalled impotent congressional efforts and was allowed to investigate itself without even political appointees Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch recusing themselves. The IRS abuse of power scandal is particularly reprehensible since that threatened American democracy itself far more than Putin ever has, and no one has been held accountable.

reply

Saying the IRS auditing some conservative groups is worse than a foreign adversary hacking our government and citizens trying to influence our election to their benefit is fucking disgusting and borderline treasonous. I guess its party over country for you, sad. Of all things we should all agree that we should protect the privacy of our citizens and the sanctity of our elections but it seems the right doesnt give a fuck about either cause their guy one. Its depressing, everything our country was built on is going away and half the country doesnt care because a democrat lost

reply

They didn't "audit", you anti-American moron, they illegally suppressed those conservative groups, including with insane questionnaires that seemed like something out of the Jim Crow/poll tax/literacy test era except they were only doing this to certain groups. They were busted by their own internal IG, yet, despite Lois Lerner pleading the Fifth in guilty as hell fashion, the Obama administration stone walled, opted to investigation itself rather than allow an independent counsel (there were certainly no recusals), and no one was ever held accountable.

As for foreign influence over our elections, you dishonest hypocrite, the BBC, a state run British outfit with an entrenched leftist bias watched by many Americans, tries to influence US elections, as does the CBC (Canada), the Chinese (more hacks than the Russians over the years), the Pakistanis and numerous other countries, many hostile to America who gave big donations to the Clinton Foundation. The Chinese directly intervened in our elections with illegal donations to Bill Clinton's campaign in the 1990s (I'm sure you were really broken up over that, lol), and Clinton lifted export controls on missile technology against military advice, which is why China now has a space program and is the dangerous military threat it is (gee thanks, Bubba!).

Maybe you should be more upset about the Democratic Party/media corruption exposed by the emails that were allegedly hacked, instead of whining about how voters got too much of the truth. If you really care about Russia, maybe you should be more concerned about Obama/Clinton spending 8 years appeasing Moscow, the botched "Reset" fiasco where Clinton wrongly tried to blame bad relations with Russia on Bush, breaking our missile defense agreement with European allies, trying to hand over the Middle East to Putin and Iran, and signing over 20% of the USA's uranium reserve to Russian control, with Clinton receiving a fat check from a Russian bank involved in the deal.

reply

But of course you don't care about any of that stuff, because you're a mindless bottomfeeding hack. If you truly supported what our country was built on (e.g. theistic natural rights theory, individual liberty, limited government, free market economics, assimilation into American culture rather than Balkanized "multi-culturalism", constitutionalism), then you wouldn't be a left winger.

reply

Repeat business from these mouth breathers unlikely, they tariffed themselves on independent thinking when they began gargling with Don Lemon's hubric hatred.

reply

Sorry, hardly the last word on this.

How about now?

reply

We dont know if there is evidence or not. I guess you dont know how the FBI works, they dont give updates on what evidence they may or may not have in the middle of an investigation, that would impede it. Well find out when the investigation is concluded. What we do know is that they have enough cause to have an investigation and a special prosecutor. Its pretty telling that of all of the members of congress who have been briefed on the investigation not a single one has said theres nothing there and no need for it to continue.

reply

Actually multiple former Obama intelligence officials and Congressional Democrats involved in the "investigation" have publicly admitted there is no evidence of collusion, and Comey just admitted Trump was telling the truth about him NOT being investigated. The Russia "investigation" was ostensibly launched because of the seriousness of alleged Russia interference. Since lots of nations interfere in our elections (and we in theirs; remember Obama sending people to campaign against Netanyahu in Israel?), however, with no Congressional investigations of them, the real reason is that Democrats are trying to spin away their losses while delegitimizing Trump and paralyzing the government to ensure he's a failed president (the country be damned; Democrats particularly hope for continued economic stagnation through the next couple of election cycles), while a few RINOS with personal grudges against Trump joined them, placing their petty vendettas over the country.

It's long past time for this "investigation" to end so Congress can fully focus on their real jobs. Americans are hurting right now while they waste time with this crap.

reply

Comey said technically not under investigation. What we know NOW, Trump is under investigation!! At the time, technically not!

reply

Trump wasn't under investigation then for the Russia thing and he's not under investigation now for it, because no evidence has been found warranting such an investigation. As for the Comey firing matter, there's no obstruction of justice case and about every legal expert who's worth anything has said that if Robert Mueller thought there was a case to pursue there he wouldn't have allowed Comey, his hypothetical star witness, to testify in front of Congress.

reply

We will see. Mueller IS investigating. Trump only makes himself look guilty time after time. Now there is news he wants to fire Mueller!!

reply

Trump is screwed regardless if he fires Muller or not. Firing him would only prove (in the court of public opinion anyway) that he's guilty of something, because an innocent man would not take this action.

reply

So an "innocent man" is compelled to be harassed and smeared by the guilty ones to satisfy which particular "moral quotient" in your enfeebled mind?

Do illumine the ethical shadings of this in your best Monty Burns accent, please...

reply

It's hilarious that Democrats spent months calling for Comey's head only to now try and attack Trump for firing the guy whom pretty much everyone agreed needed firing. What dishonest, craven, hypocritical, opportunistic scumbags.

A telling Orwellian moment was when partisan hack Steven Colbert announced to his mindless clapping seal Democrat audience that Comey had been fired, prompting a huge, spontaneous cheer, much to Colbert's chagrin. He quickly responded lamely with something like "I guess there are a lot of Trump supporters here" (there weren't), and then went about quieting the audience, which had been brainwashed for months into erroneously blaming Comey for Clinton's loss, and proceeded to coach them up by explaining that now they were supposed to be outraged by Comey's firing. They were at war with Eastasia, you see. They had always been at war with Eastasia.

reply

As well he should have really - let that weak-chinned suckophant Rosenstein knee-pad himself from one deep state sugar daddy to the next until he arrives at the altar of Hiram Abiff!

reply

Mueller even admitted there was no collusion.

reply

Yes he did, I wonder if our libtarded travelers are deep into the .pdf I linked to of the Mueller Report?

Do you think they have the wit or wisdom to parse it out to their own conclusions?

I know - don't encourage them, right?

Lol.

;-)

reply

Of course firing Comey, whom we now know was holed up in a situation room with the cameras blackened and his cabal leaking bile on the FBI's reputation like some reanimated hound from J. Edgar Hoover's political payback kennels, need not have been anything more than the prompt and necessary weeding of the deep state garden, and in reality Mueller ought to have joined that criminal tart in the composter of displaced traitors - aka Gitmo!
