Which midnight? There are something like 30 of them. 

It will probably be US Pacific midnight. That is where Amazon main servers are.

The main message

we have decided to disable IMDb's message boards on February 20, 2017.

On the link

which concludes on February 19, 2017,

It's just logical to think that it ends at midnight. It concludes on the 19th and is disabled on the 20th.

When you hear the organ start playing, then you will it is getting near.

do you really think theyre going to pay somebody to sit around until midnight and then pull the plug? theyll probably be shut down during a normal working day

reply

I do think they would make the transition late at night on a holiday weekend, when there's less traffic and loss of ad revenue. I'm sure a staff does watch the site 24-7.

They used GMT time. Which is 5 hours before Eastern Standard Time (NYC/DC). GMT goes through Europe. IMDb is an American company. And judging by responses to titles, a majority of the board users were American. So the decision was very odd. I guess they despise their users so much, they couldn't wait a few more hours to get rid of them.
