Anybody seen this movie? It shows the horrifying effects of nuclear weapons being used and it's based on a true story from Hiroshima, Japan.

Just watched it recently. Very recommended. It's one of the 'musts'. Happiness and sadness, no matter how tough you are. The sequel is recommended as well, but you might want to keep that for another time, to not get 'too much' of barefoot gen in one go.

btw. best to be watched all alone, to allow yourself to let your emotions flow.

Should see it as soon as I get the chance. It's one of Japan's best war films.

Yes, I did and I like it but the manga is better.

Yes and it's truly and impactful, amazing film. I feel it's quite underrated, especially due to the existence of the more popular Grave of the Fireflies.
