True, but when the decline happens, it happens fast. Manning went from possibly the best regular season by a QB ever, to a mediocre at best season, to a downright bad one where he won a ring on the back of his defense before retiring.

Did you watch any of those games or just look at Manning's fantasy stats? Poopton Manning threw 3 yards slants and his receivers broke off huge yards after the catch because they were running pick plays on the defender EVERY PLAY.

Any QB could have made those throws, but only Peighton can get away with cheating like that. The league let him do it, so he could have his lil comeback story despite having a worthless throwing arm. But they put that to a stop next season, and the real noodle arm Peyton was exposed. Not all the HGH in the world was going to help him. Just Roid Miller, who carried his ass to another SB he had no hand in winning.

Even the Broncos version of Manning with diminished arm strength was arguably the most productive deep thrower in the league in his first 3 years in Denver.

He led the league in completions on passes traveling over 20 yards in those three years by double digits ahead of Brees and Luck, and finished just 2 behind Brees in TDs on deep throws.

Oh I know, I've seen him call out Manning multiple times along with LeBron and a few others. And it's always a bunch of stuff that goes against widely held beliefs, like some hipster sports fan.
