Nintendo's worst mistakes.

Nintendo is a very successful business, and gaming wouldn't be the same without them. Unfortunately, they've had their share of missteps.

What do you consider the worst decisions Nintendo have ever made?

not having badass violent games like the other systems made them less desirable to kids in my area growing up. all the cool kids had an xbox or ps2 with gta san andreas then the lame nerd kids with religious parents had the nintendo cube or whatever they called that shit with there gay ass little dick discs. n64 was the last good nintendo system. they had that cool james bond game that was the best game of the 90s. after that they went to family friendly and lost the market of all the 5-13 year old trying to look cool. once u start smoking weed those 3d kids games become cool again but for that middle period kids want violence and blood and guts. i own a couple wii's now after there price went down to 30$ for the console at pawnshops and am a big fan of it now but as a kid when it was new nobody wanted it since they didnt wanna be called homo or wiitard by there friends

Their stupid decission to go all in into kiddies market in part was responsible to the creation of the DS and Wii, which put Nintendo back in black.

Nintendo sacrificed their edgy teenagers market to obtain the ever-inceasing nerdy teens market. In the end, nerdy teens becomes nerdy kiddults. They never stop playing videogames and have more disposable money to buy games.

Nerdy teens are also more inclined to buy nerdy stuffs like anime games and collectibles, special editions, every mario games, every pokemon games, and various licensed toys as well. While edgy teens moved on into drugs and tattoos and other activities outside videogames.
