There's some good tunes on their later albums, but none of them are as consistently great as those first two albums.

what other music do you like?

Recent albums I bought were by Jim Hendrix, Wilco, Lord Huron, Florence and the Machine, The Lumineers, Spoon.

I listen to the Blue Album on repeat in my car for months and months at a time. I also really like Pinkerton, Green, and especially Red doesn't get enough love. I want to go on a Weezer cruise.

Well that's a big question. Let's start from the beginning.

When I was around 11 is when my current tastes began to develop and it was all centered around my endless love for The Beatles. They have shaped my love and understanding of music ever since.

When I was around 13 my favorite bands were R.E.M. and Metallica, both of which I still like, moreso R.E.M.

I became obsessed with the System of a Down and The Doors in my late teens.

Weezer crept in sometime after that and I really can't get enough.

Early 20s I became very hipstery and I was all about The Shins and The Decemberists. The Decemberists especially remain one of my favorites.

I saw Crosby Stills and Nash at Red Rocks when I was 24 and it reinvigorated my love of them, and I also got heavy into Neil Young.

Last few years I have been developing a serious love of Grateful Dead.

Interspersed throughout this time I have always loved cheesy ballads from the 90s as well as 90s R&B and Hip Hop. Big Pun, Tupac, Dre, etc.

Also, not sure where this fits in, started in my teens, but I love Styx

That's quite a lot but maybe only barely scratches the surface. How about you?

Also I grew up in Minneapolis, and Prince was on every station probably a lot more than in other regions. I didn't realize how much I loved him until I saw him in concert when I was 17. He was amazing and has been a favorite ever since.
