70's soft rock recommendations?

Thanks to millar70's thread, lately I've been obsessed with 'Sara' by Fleetwood Mac. I also always liked 'Lyin' Eyes' by the Eagles.

Can MG recommend some 70's soft rock ballads reminiscent of the above songs? I especially like the use of piano in such music. Thank you in advance.

You should definitely check out Seals and Croft's greatest hits album. Pretty much everything on there will hit this spot.

Also, not a 70s group, but Midlake's The Trials of Van Occupanther is very much in this vein.

Anything by Bread/David Gates.

10cc's "People in Love." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82XlbS770zg

The whole album "Deceptive Bends" is a good one, even though it's post-split 10cc.

"Sara" is a gorgeous song; I remember buying the single as a girl. However, it will forever be ruined for me by reminding me one of England's bitterly cold winters and I felt cold ALL the time when that song was around.

Bread

I was going to suggest Bread. However, once again, NJtoTX beat me to it.

It's amazing how great minds think alike. 

I would also recommend the following songs:

How Long = Ace
Moonlight Feels Right = Starbuck (note: NOT StarbuckS) 
How Much I Feel = Ambrosia

Chicago's songs from that era are pretty good, too.
