Big Hero 6 wins best animated feature Oscar

They got a movie, and a show. Both are promoted as a Disney product, rather than a Marvel adaption.. and then they’re getting their own comic soon, but it’s going to be published by IDW instead of Marvel. What’s going on? Did Disney basically take BH6 and make it theirs, with little Marvel could do, because they’re the subsidiary? Marvel Wikia has Big Hero 6 set in Earth-14123 , so it seems this is apart of the official Marvel multiverse. I’m just curious.
