Is 'The Vow' as good as 'Blue Valentine'?

It's a little like comparing apples and hamburgers. Yes they're both food, but other than that, not much in common...

I suppose from a artistic point of view Blue Valentine is better (better performances, script, etc). But it's far, far bleaker.
