Is Jekyll & Hyde still being made into a movie?

I remember it was announced a decade ago on their website and there was a page for it, but then it disappeared or something?...

I would love to see the musical made into a film - but I have not heard anything definite - and there's nothing by that name listed on IMDB. Just imagine how elaborate it could be! I think Baz Luhrmman should do it!

Not Baz Luhrmann.

I don't care for him as a director after the messes he made of Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge.
