Remember when horror films had hot naked women?

In the 70s and 80s low budget horror films cast hot women willing to be naked to draw a bigger audience. These days, the low and no budget films cast skanky looking women covered in tattoos. That’s if they have nudity at all. It’s like the producers paid a visit to a local strip club and hired the cheapest, ugliest day dancers they could find.

That’s yet another reason why classic horror films are so much better than modern crap we see littering Amazon Prime and other streaming sites these days.

And don’t bother posting the tired, lame response “If you want to see naked women, watch porn.” If that’s the case, just watch snuff films instead of horror films.

A large slice of the 80s horror market was pretty much synonymous with T&A. Depends what sort of horror I'm in the mood for, but there are times when it fits the bill perfectly.

That's one of the things I love about horror - there are so many sub-genres and styles. You want seriously creepy, it's there. You want blood all over the screen, it's there. You want hot young co-eds in their underwear, running from knife-wielding maniacs, it's there. Something for everyone!

Horror is the master genre.

Honestly 90+% of the movies I watch are horror, that's if we're including rewatches, without rewatches it's probably more like 70%.

It absolutely is, and my percentages are probably around the same as yours 👍

The 00s was the last time we had proper nudity in horror.

Stuff like Friday the 13th (2009), My Bloody Valentine (2009), Piranha (2010) and co' were the last wave of 'gratuitous' nudity in horror.
