I coach soccer. Our team is not very good. We were winning a game late, but the other team came back and won the game. After the game 3 of our boys told me one of the ref that I chewed out earlier for missing a call, ending in a goal for the other team, told our boys "You guys suck". When I heard this I looked for him with ideas of a confrontation and possibly instigate a fight. Later I realized this was not the right thing to do, and glad he had already left the area.
I speak my mind, but have the right mind to not let it get out of hand.
Damn, that's messed up. Sounds like that guy shouldn't be working around children if he's going to be insulting like that. Kudos to you for biting your tongue. Causing a scene in front of kids probably wouldn't have been a very good idea.

shareIn spite of what most people here probably think based on how I react here, basically nothing. It's a lot easier to go off on people online than it is in person. I rarely say much in person. I'm basically too scared of people to do anything, and I know if anything really happened I'd get the entire blame regardless of what the other person did to start it. Occasionally I get mad and tell people off and call them certain words that are banned in today's society, but that's it. In high school and before that, I used to get angry enough at people who were hitting me or whatever and hit them back, but that only made things worse especially when they were girls.
I've said a lot of things I regret, both in real life and here.
I don't know...you tell me. I'm a self declared douche and just look at my actions round this place...but I'd rather be me than create a horde of sock accounts trying to be someone else.

shareWhen I was younger, I was very hostile and argumentative. Now I just try to EDUCATE people. A sizable number of the IMDB seem to be complete dumbases who are armed with ridiculous facts and incapable of rational thought or reasonable argument, but I try no to get angry. And I TRY not to be insulting, but my utter contempt spills out sometimes.
In real life, I've learned not to go off half-cocked, especially on my work superiors. When people are sincerely being a**holes, I just quietly try to figure out how I can screw them over.
