Panic at Lakewood Manor (1977)

It Happened at Lakewood Manor (1977)/Panic at Lakewood Manor/Ants. I remember seeing this TV movie a couple of times at least when I was just a little kid. Creepy crawly stuff. It's on youtube might give a rewatch soon. Any other fans?

Killer ants at a resort, right? I remember either TBS or USA playing this back in the day. Somewhere between 1988 and 1991, I'm thinking. I liked it, from what I remember.

By the way, I made you a proper appreciation thread. Don't be a bitch and not respond.

You got the wrong guy, mang. I don't come off no banana boat.

Haha I thought you took it back right underneath the title so I kept silent :D

Was at the resort, they had to breathe through straws while the ants crawled all over them.

2/10 Help him he can't swim hes been in the water half a second. You've just been bitten by ants very painful and you sit there and don't even roll up your jeans and look at the bites, very realistic. The hero has caused all the problems, aint he heard the saying dont poke a hornets nest. The fire ladder part is one of the funniest things Ive seen, WTF if thats what they do, is no way I'll be letting them save me. FFS at the end of the day they are only ants, just run through them, what are they gonna do leap and tackle you. The dude falling off the balcony is hilarious

I haven't seen it for a long time but I have a DVD of it. If I remember correctly it came in a double pack with Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo. I remember it being fairly good. It had a pretty good cast including Robert Foxworth, Barry Van Dyke and Myrna Loy.

Both were shown pretty frequently on TBS or TNT when I was in college back in the late 80s and early 90s, even though they are both 70s movies.
