The new offering from Link Starbureiy is an adaptation of Roderick Thorp's original work (The Detective, 1966/1968) brought into modern times. The story begins by concluding Joe Leland's saga (Die, Detective!), and then introducing his son (Jack McClane?) to finish the arc.
