Do Americans behave like retards in movie theatres?

I've been watching videos like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DzVIafBMpE

I'm very confused, can someone please explain? Are these videos fake, or are they filmed in specific theatres where this sort of behaviour is encouraged? Or is this just the norm in America?

Because here in Australia, any noise in theatres is completely unacceptable, except laughter. It completely ruins it for people who just want to focus on the movie, which I thought was most people.

If I was in a theatre like this, I'd tell the staff to silence everyone. If they didn't, I'd leave and demand a refund. If they didn't give it to me, I'd sue them. I am absolutely baffled, I always thought everyone else felt the same way.

Sadly, all too many Americans do act like that in movie theaters. Sometimes worse than that. They consider the theater to be an extension of their living room, rather than a public space where consideration for others should be practiced. To them, rudeness & boorishness equals "freedom" … although "freedumb" is a better word for their behavior.

That's your youtube channel isn't it? Spamming your own videos?

There's idiots in every country mate.

reply

Here in my country nope, it’s not a thing though I wish it was I like seeing people reacting to my favorite films and great moments in cinema.

Seeing so many people react that way in theaters represents the magic of movies and how affects the people who have been following a specific series of films

reply

I've seen movies in Europe and Australia, and they behave like human beings.

Americans are fucking morons at concerts, too.. Clapping off-beat (since they have no rhythm), or trying to sing along, screaming shit as if the performer would stop and answer their gibberish.

You clearly understand how lawsuits work.

reply

I mean Americans who watch movies like this aren't just behaving like them, they ARE them!
