Foreign Movie suggestions for me.

So I'm searching for inspiration for some writing. I'm a big fan of Yakuza movies. I'm very picky and have seen a lot already, but what I'm looking for is a movie with heavy swordplay and assassination scens. Like Kill Bill, there was also this movie that came out last year I loved it called "The Villainess". I'm looking for anything like that, involving samurai or samurai-like characters that specialize in assasination. E.G. Rurouni Kenshin, Blade of the Immortal, 13 Assassins, The Wolves, Lady Snowblood, Ninja Assassin, all of the Lone Wolf & Cub series, The Man from Nowhere. That last one is Korean, but I'm mostly looking for Japanse preferablely.

Those are the ones I've already seen. Hope someone can be of some assistance. I'm still fairly new to this and don't know if I'll get any suggestions at all but Thanks anyway.

Thank you! Ive been thinking of watching Seven Samurai for a while, just have so many movies from that era I'm watching. I have seen Sleepy Eyes of death, most of the the Zatoichi series. I think its because how old they are but when I do get around to them I always love them, I loved Sword of Doom but it took me forever to start it.Never heard of Rashomon before now but I wanna try it. I'm a fan of Toshiro Mifune.

Rashomon and Seven Samurai are definitely the Japanese period movie classics you'd want to go with.
