Blue Seduction (2009).

Anyone out there seen this trashy made for TV 2009 erotic thriller directed by Timothy Bond and starring Billy Zane (of "Titanic" (1997) fame no less - but in a role that's different from his abusive husband of Rose there, in this movie, he is a victim of abuse and even self-abuse HIMSELF, more on all of that later) and Estella Warren and what did you think of it?

I myself have indeed seen it, yes.

To be honest, its overall a very poor and incredibly dull and disappointing film, featuring weak performances, often unbelievable situations and events, totally routine and lifeless pedestrian direction and a cliched script, and I can only ask people to really watch it once just to see what its like and even then, no real need to bother with it.

Its basically like a made for TV version of, or rather a variation of, every other similar film made, right down to the title, including John Dahl's "The Last Seduction" (1994) (one scene is even slightly similar to that of that film's ending), "Basic Instinct" (1992), "Fatal Attraction" (1987) and even any music showbusiness episode, the story is even almost like an adult version of that Britney Spears flick "Crossroads" from 2002.

Not even a strange scene of ANY kind where Billy Zane gets tied up by Estella Warren and s***ally assaulted, only to be later framed by her for doing the same to him (talk about abuse of justice here among other things) manages to save it in any real way, even if you say really HATED his character in "Titanic" (1997) and were obsessed for 12 years in seeing him suffer for how he treated Rose (Kate Winslet's character there) can save it in any way, though, inappropriate as it all maybe, its kinda amusing seeing just how weak his character AND performance was here, and how Estella Warren's character also manages to beat him, threaten him, force feed him drugs and manipulate him emotionally and even threaten to kill him as well, with him being unable to do anything about it, all in the name of winning herself a singing career.

And then there's that farcial twist and practically comical ending, but really, what a disappointment, seriously.
