Then the Best actress Oscar should have gone to Saoirse Ronan

Having said that, I haven't seen Ladybird yet, but it would have been a great achievement for an Irish actress, and I'm Irish myself

I like Fargo but I didn't think Francis McDormand was Oscar Worthy for it. Haven't seen the other movies nominated that year though.

I have no problem with an Irish actress winning but I've seen both movies, and it was easily Frances' award that year (the movie and her performance were incredible).

But Saoirse is young and has a long promising career ahead of her.

Robbie should have won regardless.

Saoirse should win the Oscar in the future. She's a very unique voice
