(SOLVED) sci-fi movie or TV show where people fight each other in giant mechs

I watched at most 20 minutes of this. A woman in a mech was fighting a guy in a mech. The guy seemed to be the villain or antagonist. He was beating her badly in the fight and a man came and took over control of it. The 2nd man’s mech eventually became too badly damaged for him to continue fighting in it. He somehow created a rocket out of part of the mech that was shot at the other mech, destroying it. The man in the mech somehow survived the destruction and they then fought each other hand to hand. Eventually one of them picked up a spear and the other picked up a rock to use as weapons and at that point they both stopped fighting. They then clasped each other’s hands in a show of camaraderie.
