Which 60s-70s Western shows an Indian chief mistaking nitroglycerine for whiskey? SOLVED

I saw this on TV as a kid. The movie was likely from the 1960s or 1970s. I forget the stars. Indians capture the hero and his friends and find a bottle of nitroglycerine that the heroes are going to use to commit a robbery or a prison breakout or something. The Indians think it is whiskey and the Chief takes a swig from the bottle. He spits it out in disgust at the taste and his spit explodes, blowing up a rock, terrifying the Indians and allowing the heroes to escape.

Halfway down this page there is a description of that scene:

Billy tricks Wild Horse into taking a swig from a whiskey bottle filled with nitroglycerine. When Wild Horse spits it out and angrily throws away the bottle, the resulting explosion gives the gang the distraction they need to fight back.
