Hi! I'm looking for a TV miniseries / limited series / TV movie I have seen in the late '90s, or early 2000's.
It was about a kid (or two kids, possibly siblings, maybe an older boy and a younger girl), who was on some kind of journey. I think he / they set out to find their relatives (maybe their parents died). Anyway, what stands out in my memory is that he owned a harmonica, and was learning how to play it. One of the characters misspelled it as 'harmoBica' (but it might have been only in the overdub!)
The boy also befriended an old man, who either accompanied them, or gave them accomodation. The were a lot of landscape shots, of beautiful forests and nature.

It was on TV in Hungary, but probably set (and also shot) in either Spain or Italy.

edit: the instrument also could have been an accordion, but it would make no sense for a child to carry arounds such a heavy item lol

Touch the Sun: Devil's Hill (1988 TV Movie) is one movie in a series of Made-For-TV movies in Australia. It has 4 kids - 3 boys and a girl.

Or, it might be Into the West (1992) It has two boys, in Ireland. It involves both a modern Ireland city and a 'magical land'. It looks like the grandfather lived in a wagon.

It's neither, but thank you for the input! The harmonica was an integral part of the story.

Thanks! Great website, though I'm pretty sure it wasn't a feature film, but some kind of mini-series.

While part of your description would fit, the rest doesn't, but there were 2 brothers, lots of landscape shots, teaming u with someone and the harmonica is central to the storyline, which you find out at the end the reason why.
