Girl's husband took her to the garage and beat her to death with a crowbar ??

When I was like 5 I saw this movie on TV where this pretty blonde girl was sunbathing outside her front yard and her husband or whatever came over to her and was like I wanna show you a surprise and she was like, "I hate surprises" and he was like, "you're gonna love this one" and then he walked her into the garage and made her close her eyes, and when she opened them she was like "what is it?" and then from behind he beat her to death with a crowbar

It traumatized me as a kid and I often wonder what was that I witnessed on cable TV. I think the husband was either Charlie Sheen or Mel Gibson or someone like that.

Does someone know what movie is this?

It sounds almost identical to the very beginning of the Monk episode, "Mr. Monk Gets Fired." The girl is not blonde and the husband is not Charlie Sheen or Mel Gibson but other than those things the scene is exactly like your memory of what you thought was a movie.
