60s/early 70s horror movie (possibly European)

I was brainstorming with a childhood friend about a TV movie we saw back in the early 80s but the movie itself was from either the late 60s or early 70s.

The details and plot revolve around young good looking people who are abducted and either murdered or placed in suspended animation by an evil scientist or recluse who encases them inside blocks of ice or plastic where you can see them frozen and not moving. It's not clear if he kills them or is preserving them for some future experiments.

The only key scene we seem to remember is the evil scientist giving some sort of tour to a man and/or a woman as they see an assembly line of suspended men and women in these transparent blocks hanging from a conveyor assembly line like you would see in a slaughter house or automobile manufacturing plant.

We also seem to remember the movie being dubbed in English OR that the film was a British production, but it was definitely not an American movie or cast with Americans. It also had that spooky 70s horror music you can find in movies scored by Ennio Morricone or the movie Fantastique Planet.

Those 60s and 70s British horror movies were the best watching when growing up.
