Worst year? I've already forgotten.
The year CHARIOTS OF MIS-FIRE stole the Oscar was most definitely not a good year. Realizing how boring it was, distributors in Puerto Rico did not release it until after the awards ceremony in the hope that the prestige of the Oscar would fool Puerto Ricans into thinking that that uninspiring tale about two totally forgotten Olympians deserved their patronage. No such luck; my compatriots were NOT fooled.
