Movie inside Dome of the Rock?

This was a European or Indie film, I think (not Israeli; not a documentary).

Anyway, there was a scene at the end filmed at (or re-created on a movie set & made to look like it's filmed at) the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, inside, showing the Foundation Stone as a type of Axis Mundi. But this was not a Muslim film, not particularly religious. A secular movie, but mystical in tone.

No older than the 1990s, I believe. I feel like I saw this on a cable movie channel in Argentina or Brazil in the late 1990s or early 2000s. Does anybody know this movie?
