I agree. Anya is great in this, and Furiosa is an extremely competent action film. Its no Fury Road, but it soars high above the crap that Hollywood has been producing for the last 10 years or so.
Dune 2 is the most mid movie i've ever seen.
You are wrong. Furiosa is not written like some perfect invincible lady with no flaws, she gets beaten almost to death in this movie. Her partner is also a straight white male, who is not written by some stupid feminist as "dumb", "toxic" or inferior. That is refreshing.
Hell, i even consider Dementus "the red" as a jab directed at communists. He is an awesome villain, btw, they found the perfect mixture of hilarious and menacing.
I heard it was kinda marketed as a "Mad Max" movie in the US, and i get it, it sucks, but at least over here in Brazil we knew that this was a prequel about Furiosa, and the movie would not have Mad Max. So to me is kinda weird reading comments like "wHy nO mAD MaX???", because its obvious that a Furiosa prequel wouldn't have him xD.

Yup. Not a 10 out of 10 though. And DEFINITELY not in the same league as "one of the best sequels ever made since Return of the King or Goddfather II", like a lot of people are saying.

No no no, you dont get it. We MUST show how evil Feyd-Rautha is, ok? He is a bald menace! The audience needs to understand this. He kills people at random. Look at him wrong? DEAD! No, no, dont give the character nuance, that will distract the audience of the fact that he is EVIL!!! He is SO evil, you have no idea! He put a blade in his tongue for chrissakes! That is EVIl. Florence told us he is a psycho!!!!11 Dont you get it?
