Fun aside, Trump would be smart to play up the conviction, and I mean really play it up. Wear a button that says "convicted" on it - maybe a "The left convicted me and you're next" or a "no one's safe!" button to show he's not backing down from what really is a politically motivated conviction.
Hell, I might even vote for him if he did that..
95% of conservatives are for allowing Russia uninhibited attacks on Ukraine because Diaper Joe is for protecting Ukraine.
This is the same garbage as the old "Orange Man bad" thing where everything Trump did was automatically wrong and had to be changed by Dementia Joe. Trump wants to protect the border? Orange Man bad - open the border. Trump giving out drilling permits allows the U.S. to be energy independent? Orange Man bad - end the permits.
There are things all Americans should be united on, and the defense of a country fighting a battle against 21st century Nazis is one of them.

I agree, but I wonder about the editing choice.
If Witness was otherwise just a bit suggestive and nothing more about John and Rachel's mutual attraction, the edit would make more sense to me, but since they showed Rachel full frontal for several seconds with John starting at her girl parts, they could have added a few more seconds to that scene in the field.
Without getting too graphic, they could have shown the same kissing scene up close, cut to a long shot still kissing, then have them slowly drop towards the ground - cut the scene before they even get there.
I don't get the reason for the small ambiguity there.
I didn't follow a minute of it except for snippets that invariably are heard or headlines read, but to be honest, it does seem like a political hit piece.
I think the facts are he had an affair with a porn star, he paid her off to keep quiet, then tried to hide the payoff by charging the payoffs to something other than his personal checkbook with the notation "paid for hooker hush money".
To answer your question, the things Trump did are against the law. But felony? Seems like a misdemeanor and fine at most would be the result for for most scum caught boinking sluts and paying them off and trying to hide their disgusting behavior with book cooking. That this was blown up over a political adversary should make both sides shudder.
Like the Lewinsky blue dress that was covered with presidue, it seems like a politically motivated action worthy of a Banana Republic.
I wasn't going to vote for Trump, but this type of political attack is frankly frightening. Between this and the two nebulous impeachments, is this how we want to go? Right now, I'm leaning toward voting for Trump.
Honestly, I look at Trump's crimes and find a disgusting man paying off a hooker, but then I compare that with Biden not protecting our border and wonder whose crimes affect the country and what crimes affect morality?
I guess I would have to channel you to answer that question because the spell wouldn't work with me.
