Was the judge in on it or just an idiot

During one of the hearings someone named Fiona had given a written affidavet that the doctor she worked for was exagerrating patients symptons so that Marla could take over the patients case. Marla said that Fiona had been fired for being useless and the judge said, " I agree Fiona was useless." First off how would the judge even know who Fiona was and secondly why would the judge even say that in court? Very suspicious.
