A great 3rd installment of the Andy Serkis trilogy

This is another example of a 3rd movie in a franchise that is good. Although my only issues is that they were setting up this big epic battle between apes and humans and for some reason that got sidelined. Not to mention the human characters (save for The Colonel and Nova) aren't exactly great which is weird considering the Rise and Dawn had human characters that were well-written especially Malcolm, Dreyfus, and Will.

Still, War for the Planet of the Apes is a great movie. So, 8.5/10
