The MSNBC host and former NBC Nightly News anchor closed out his 11th Hour show Tuesday night with a segment about how The Apprentice “might have been the pilot” for Trump’s presidency. “The so-called coastal elites, including – let’s be honest – much of the mainstream media, people who are perhaps still coming to grips with Trump’s attraction, might have seen it early if they watched the show," Williams said.

People who liked that show did not understand 'reality tv' was a 'controlled environment' where at the end of the show/episode--they could go back to their regular lives. And the show staff yes helped with the series. Trump did not have to figure out everything.

Being president wasn't like that it was a round the clock job where the office holder was responsible for everything. Probably not fun for somebody with zero prior awareness of American government--and what would happen in a disaster which we have had.
