Was Cher too pretty for the role?

Her character was supposed to be this stressed out single mom, who uses drugs, sleeps around, and hangs out with rough biker dudes

But when I looked at Cher, I saw a glamorous babe. I didn’t see anything sleazy

Was that an issue?

I don't see any problem with her having a pretty face.
Her role was not glamorous and I think she played her role as a drug addict really good.

Not for me. I once knew a biker chick who actually looked quite a lot like Cher does in this movie, so for me it was totally believable.

Single moms who sleep around are usually sought after, thus implying they are pretty, despite the whiny mutant brat at home.
