Worth seeing for Paul Lukas

Hey, pals, this is a very neat though intricate little piece and definitely worth seeing for Lucas, for the Quebec in the '40's background, and for "The Quebec Concerto".

I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money... and I didn't get the woman.

Being French Canadian, I had never heard of this movie... Is it on VHS or DVD?
How did you get to see it?

It is available on dvd. Enjoy fatuously or not.

What is the sound an imploding pimp makes?

I've just watched it on You Tube. I seem to remember seeing this before somewhere on UK TV. Paul Lukas is up to his usual villainy. He's the only actor I know in this movie. I'm going to watch this one again just to tie up a few loose ends I didn't get. The plot is a bit complicated but it's an enjoyable movie.
