The Night of the Demons ones are great with friends, pizza and beers.

Hocus Pocus, no way. That's more like a movie to enjoy with your family.

Anyone else?

Well sure, "Something Wicked This Way Comes" popped out at me. I don't even think people remember that movie. I vaguely remember very little.

Great novel by Ray Bradbury...

Of your choices my pick would "Tales from the Darkside".

The Monster Squad
The Lost Boys
Mandy

Three hilarious Halloween party movies. Enjoy!

You’re not playing by the rules, Fred! 😉😂

For what it’s worth though, I agree that The Lost Boys is a cracking good choice for a Halloween movie night. If the OP had asked for other recommendations I would have also suggested Seed of Chucky, a tonne of Halloween fun right there.

Halloween is approaching. Anyone else please?

I’ve only seen two of the films you listed, Hocus Pocus and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and if I had to choose from those two average movies I’d probably go with Buffy.

i've seen:

buffy
tales from the darkside
creepshow 2
demons 2
tales of halloween

i think they're all fun in their own way. certainly, i think they'd all work as fun goofing around with friends half watching half making stoner jokes watches.

they only film on that list i really like is demons 2 - it's got lots of gore & fun, silly looking monsters & a pretty cool soundtrack. but ymmv as the kids so often like to say.

of the three anthologies films, i'd say tales of halloween is the best. it's fairly light as far as gore goes, but all the segments are professional looking and fun.
