PEPPER ANDERSON, SARGENTO=POLICE WOMAN has always been one of my favorite shows. Are there plans for a feature film based on it? Dickinson and Holliman are still alive, so this is the right time for such a project.

"Police Woman" was one of the most acclaimed dramas of the 70s, and I think Angie Dickinson was the reason why - a classy actress in every sense of the word.
A few years after "Police Woman" ended, the night-time drama "Dynsaty" began (January, 1981). Dickinson was the first choice by Aaron Spelling to play "Krystle Carrington", new wife of "Blake Carrington" (originally played by Goerge Peppard in the pilot). Dickinson passed on the offer (even after Peppard was dropped and John Forsythe was cast), saying she didn't want to be involved in another night-time drama. Supposedly, over the next few years, Aaron Spelling continued to offer her a role in the drama (at one point, playing Linda Evans' older sinister sister which tempted Dickinson), but she refused.
I liked her until I heard about her feud with Pat Sajak. He was all set to host a remake series of "This Is Your Life" - and the subject was Angie Dickenson.
After he got all of her friends together - he went to suprise her - but she cussed him out and stormed off the set. They had to cancel the series because of her.
I could see not wanting to be the subject of a tribute show - and not wanting to be put on the spot like that - but come one. That is just way too trashy to use that kind of language in front of Pat Sajak.

I heard about her little tirade back then , I thought that was just unbelievably childish and stupid.
I thought she was cool on Police Woman because being from a small town and being a kid,I'd never seen women do thosse kind of things. (Except Charlies Ange;s of course).

I saw Angie on late night poker last year in her late 70s and still stunningly beautiful. When one of the men at the table remarked (to a handsome, young,male opponent) "I wouldn't *beep* with you" Angie (with a mile wide smile) instantly quipped "I would". PRICELESS!!
shareI find it hard to believe Angie Dickinson would totally freak out as she does not have a reputation of being difficult. But if she didn't want it, she's perfectly within her perogative to walk off. Ambushes like that, no matter how well-meaning, always tread a fine line between tribute and tribulation. I get she's been in the public eye for a long time, but she deserves her privacy too, if she chooses.
Sure you weren't referring to Janice Dickinson? Now there's a freak, and a totally unwarranted "celebrity". So sad that there's so many of them now.
Oh, yeah, now Janice is crazy.
