Zack Snyder and Justice League?

Zack Snyder will be directing the Justice League movie? I know it's too early talking about this... So it's not going to be a fun, funny and feel good movie just like the Avengers, Thor, Ironman and Captain America. Sure Zack is a good director but his films like 300, Watchmen and even Man of Steel has a very dark, sad, seriuos bleak atmosphere. After watching his films, it feels like a nuclear bomb is about to be dropped somewhere...

That's the whole point of his films. To make actual superhero movie. They focus on the plot and development of the characters and how the heroes would really react in those situations instead of trying to make the audience laugh. The problem with marvel movies (not Sony) is that they focus to much on the jokes. They make it hard to take the heroes serious when the hero would rather crack jokes then crack skulls. Dc movies bring to life heroes and give it a as close to real feel as possible.

Nolan should also be involved!

Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

I partly agree about Marvel. It's not so much that the new Disney related films are light in tone;it's their execution. I don't like that the villains aren't serious threats. It's all very 'show-off' without much substance to them.

I agree, Snyder and nolans movie r dark. Disney is much lighter fare. However I think the execution in the marvel films is much better. I think the characters are more enjoyable to watch. And the humorous banter, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Nolans first 2 batmans are off the chart good. 3rd not so much. And with whedon directing avengers, you had to know you would get the humorous banter between characters. I would say it's one of his trademarks. I for one would love to see what a Nolan level director could actually do for marvel/Disney properties. Or fox xmen series(which has failed to live up too the others standards.imo).
