Albums with strong starts and weak endings

Are there any classic rock albums that you thought started off strong and then ran out steam at the end? One example for me would the Velvet Underground's debut The Velvet Underground and Nico. I thought most of the album worked, but then lost momentum with the last couple tracks.

The first Cars album sort of did that IMO.

Melvins - Houdini starts out crushingly powerful and ends as a bunch of absolute drivel.

Iced Earth's "Alive in Athens" (1999) http://www.allmusic.com/album/alive-in-athens-mw0000244275 starts out with this killer track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1-5WlpSBEg. But at two discs, and over two hours, it just goes on for too long in my opinion.

I understand that there's also a three disc edition, but I guess you'd have to be a pretty big Iced Earth fan to sit through that in one sitting.

I have the three-disc reissue with an extra track on disc 2, hahah. It's definitely not something I ever play all the way through though.

I always liked the first 4 tracks of Creed's My Own Prison,
but only liked 2 out of the last 6 songs (Illusion and One).

Your sarcasm has driven me to idiocy.
