Diagnose this...

It MUST have all these conditions, they're all simultaneous and felt connected, not coincidental.

1) While sprinting back and forth on a basketball court at a tremendous speed, suddenly losing legs from beneath you.
2) Have absolutely no power in those legs, and they are icey cold.
3) Arms are almost the same, but have a little strength and allows the person to pull themselves (because they were certainly not going to get any help from onlookers) to the side of the court.
4) An immense chest pain, very intense.
5) Go fetal to provide the body with warmth, I believe moving the legs into a fold with the arms.
6) Complete loss of legs probably lasted about 15 minutes.
7) Was able to walk after that, but had to crouch at the knees and only walked because no one recognized there was a problem. Still hurt all over.
8) Probably started truly recovering after 45 minutes.

So it needs presumably a loss of blood circulation to the limbs making them feeling like they are utterly frozen. A chest pain (central, if recollection is correct) is also essential. They are not coincidental. It all occurred simultaneously. I can't tell you if this person had an erratic heartbeat, they don't remember (it was a long time ago).

Has it ever occurred to you to see/ask a physician about this?

You posted it on the Watercooler, in Oct., saying that it happened to you, personally.

This is a message board ... not a medical clinic.

I agree with the poster wh says go to a doctor.

That said, since you mentioned sports, have they pulled the intercostal muscles? Does it hurt sometimes when they stress themselves when trying to deficate? Those muscles can be pulled in sports (or other activities) where a person makes sudden twisting moves. It can subsequently cause pain either down the sides or in the chest area that can be mistaken for a heart attack.

Also, is the person having problems with their eyes such as twitching or spasming?

If I want to knock a story off the front page I just change my hairstyle.
