Marvel Cinematic Universe

As we all know, the Spider-Man franchise has been rebooted with "The Amazing Spider-Man" and its upcoming sequel. There are also reboots (supposedly) of Daredevil and The Fantastic Four in the works. I think Marvel did the right thing by having solo movies before bringing all the heroes together for "The Avengers". It created a very interesting continuity, in my opinion. Spider-Man and Daredevil have both battled Kingpin. Spider-Man and Fantastic Four have battled Dr. Doom. So, I think that Marvel Entertainment should have another smaller "shared-universe". Kingpin and Doom can both mention battling Spider-Man when they show up in Daredevil and Fantastic Four movies, respectively.

Marvel doesn't even own the rights to a lot of their titles so I'm not sure what you're talking about can be done. For example, Fox owns the X-Men, so in Avengers 2 with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch - they can't mention their relationship to Magneto (hell, they can't even use the word "mutant").

That being said, the legality of Quicksilver appearing in both the new X-Men and Avengers 2 is quite interesting. Idk exactly how they're working that.

Daredevil is not in the works according to Kevin Feige. It doesn't sound like Fantastic 4 is either (at least not under Marvel Studios). Here's a link to a post from another thread that includes a link to an interview w/ Feige and my summary of what he states for Phase 3.

Daredevil and Fantastic Four may not be set for reboots for "Phase 3", but that doesn't mean they won't be in the future. It takes a long time for a movie to get made. Look how long it took for Spider-Man. They had been talking about making a movie since AT LEAST the 80s.

Actually, I was wrong about Fantastic 4. Its slated for 2015 as a co-production w/ Fox and will share continuity with the X-Men films. So maybe we'll get some mention of crossovers like you originally posted. Personally, I wouldn't mind if they re-cast it without rebooting it.

In an ideal world Marvel would reclaim all their titles and expand their studios to release twice as many films per year. Other studios seem to drop the ball with Marvel titles. But they have so many great characters and stories it's kind of a shame to only get to see 2-3 of them a year. I would love to see like 5 Marvel titles (done right) every year w/ shared continuity, crossovers, and maybe even occasional cameos.

And especially, what Marvel films needs imo... some NAMOR!

I have to admit that I'm a bit naive when it comes to FF and X-Men. Outside of the animated series and the movies, I am not really familiar with them. I've never picked up a comic. How are they going to have a shared continuity between those two franchises?

Idk. That's just what the wikipedia page says. And apparently it is going to be a reboot.

What you are suggesting is impossible. Spider-Man is owned by Sony, who no longer owns any other Marvel Heroes. Daredevil is back with Marvel Studios, but they are not developing any projects with him at the moment.

Fantastic Four and the X-Men are with FOX. They can crossover and probably will.

Quicksilver and Scarlet witch are brother and sister and both are in the avengers there both also magnetos children so that's where they cross with the x-men i also think they have something to do with the FF.
