For those who've seen the AMITYVILLE HORROR franchise:

I've read that the continuity throughout the almost 20 films is confusing. I've seen other franchises where that happened. However, certain installments were still meant to be canon to one another. Therefore, how many canons is this franchise meant to have?

I say they have two.

One follows the house starting in two till it blew up after to many hauntings angrying the spirits.

The second is what's out now by sci-fi
