Court Room Drama/Thrillers..look ing for

One of my favorite type of movie that I really enjoy getting into is a good court room thriller where defense and prosecution battle it out. there a lot of movies out there that have brief court room scenes but don't go into details. I'm looking for movies where the court room is centre stage - I've seen some really good ones like Primal Fear, 12 Angry men, My Cousin Vinny.

Some older ones I have yet to get my hands on like Inherit the wind.

I am looking for help finding good movies like the above where all the action unfolds in court so if any of you good folk can suggest any good titles that fit the bill I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

You've probably seen it already but Billy Wilder'sWitness for the Prosecution is a great one.

One more recent movie I can think of is Runaway Jury.

Jagged Edge is a fine one too, but I think most of it takes place outside the courtroom.

I highly recommend The Verdict (1982) with Paul Newman. It's one of the best courtroom dramas I've seen. Newman plays a washed-out alcoholic lawyer who has one last chance to redeem himself by battling against a negligent doctor, the Archdiocese (who owns the hospital), and their seemingly invincible legal team. In a trial that is emotionally draining and seemingly impossible to win, Newman not only has legal hurdles to negotiate, but personal ones as well.

not quite the setting you are looking for as it does jump around a bit but I think it has the element/s you will enjoy - cover-ups and trying to bring the bad guys to justice...I suggest the film Z (get past the first 25 minutes and its an excellent film - top 20 easily)
